“You’ve Got the Time” Church-wide Audio Bible Listening Plan
The time is drawing near. MIC is going to start the campaign from 13 Mar 2011. We will set up a booth from next Sun to distribute MP3 Bible stick or MP3 disk. To witness the changes with the whole church, you need to commit your daily time in God’s word by filling up a “pledge form”.

If you already have your own MP3 player, just take a MP3 disk which is free of charge and do your own downloading. If you do not have your own MP3 player, take a ready-to-go MP3 Bible stick which costs MIC HKD 170 each. We don’t want to see any church member to be hindered from joining this campaign due to financial difficulties. However if you feel able to make a donation for the stcik, that would be good..

Just spend 28 minutes a day, and you will amazingly complete the whole New Testament in just 40 days. Keep track of your listening by using the following plan :

Hong Kong Keswick Bible Week Seeking God, Seeking Good
Hong Kong's Keswick Bible Week is an English-Speaking Bible Conference sponsored by the Hong Kong Evangelical Fellowship, and open to all who are interested in growing in their understanding and application of the Scriptures to life. This year, the conference will be held at MIC and the speaker is Rev John V. Thomas. He has been the senior pastor of King of Kings Baptist Church of South Africa. He calls God’s people to revival and holy living, and challenges the churches to compassionate action within the task of reaching the nations of Christ.

The Life You Have Always Wanted
Starting on 20th Feb, for 6 weeks, we are offering a course on Sunday morning at 9.30am entitled “The Life You Have Always Wanted”. This is produced by John Ortberg who is a very gifted teacher. It is being organised by PACT but is open to anyone in the church. It will be held in the L/G Meeting Room. No need to register; just turn up at 9.30am.

Prison Ministry
MIC is exploring extending our prison ministry. If you are a English-speaker or a Mandarin-speaker who has a serving heart for prisoners, please talk to our Missions Director Angel Lau (angel@hk-mic.org/ 2574 0419).

Marriage Encounter
This is for married couples who have a good marriage and want a better one. For some the way forward is a “Marriage Encounter Weekend.” It is for couples who want to deepen communication between themselves but who can be so busy in normal life. The next such weekend is 15 – 17th April. I have more information and a booking form. John
